—————————————————–

The Autism And Us Book Club is an incredible extension of our Autism And Us parent support community. It provides a welcoming and inclusive space for like minded individuals who are passionate about exploring the world of books and fostering meaningful discussions.

At the heart of our book club is the desire to shed light on the diverse experiences of individuals on the autism spectrum. Through carefully selected books, we aim to gain a deeper understanding of autism and promote empathy and acceptance within our community.

We meet online regularly to discuss our chosen books, exchange ideas, and share our personal insights and reflections. These discussions not only expand our knowledge but also allow us to develop a deeper appreciation for the incredible diversity within the autism community.

Whether you are a caregiver, a person on the autism spectrum, or someone who simply wants to learn more about autism, our book club is open to all. Let’s embark on this literary journey together and create meaningful connections that will last a lifetime.

To become a member of the Autism And Us Book Club, simply join our Facebook group and stay updated with our upcoming book selections and discussion events. We look forward to welcoming you into our community of book lovers and autism advocates. Happy reading!

***All books and articles will be about or related to autism. Because of the nature of some of the readings and discussions you must be 18+ to join.

My Little Birdie To A Diagnosis
When Different Takes Flight

By Erica L. Taylor

When Erica Taylor’s little boy, Landon, was diagnosed with autism at just 26 months old, her world changed forever. What began as fear and uncertainty became a powerful journey of love, resilience, and fierce advocacy.

In this deeply moving nonfiction autism parenting memoir, Erica shares sixteen years of truth and tears — the real, unfiltered emotions of a mother determined to help her child be seen, heard, and understood in a world that too often overlooks “different.”

Through challenges and triumphs, My Little Birdie to a Diagnosis reminds every parent that love can light the darkest paths. It’s a story of faith, strength, and finding beauty in the unexpected.
